Join us on June 17, 2023, from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m., EST in our online, Zoom classroom.
Expanded Core Curriculum: recreation and leisure, sensory efficiency, and self-determination.
Students will use their creative ideas to make a piece of tactile artwork using air dry clay, seashells, beads, and other tactile objects. Students will then provide a brief introduction and description of their artwork to others in the group.
Students will explore various ideas and options for interacting with others during the summer at home. Examples and demonstrations of adaptable games and activities will be demonstrated.
The Virtual ECC session is available at no cost to students living in Florida who are deaf/hard of hearing (DHH), blind/visually impaired (BVI), or dual sensory impaired (DSI) aged 6-14. All registered children will receive materials delivered to their homes for hands-on participation during the live event. An adult is required to participate with their child and register prior to the event. Each lesson is led by certified teachers with experience working with students who are D/HH or B/VI.
Space is limited, and registration is required, so please don’t wait to sign up!
