Jessica Waldbillig has been in the field of education, both ASL and Deaf Education, since 2012. She has a bachelor's in Accountancy from Boise State University. After debating a career change, a friend suggested trying teaching and encouraged her to apply for an ASL position at a local high school in Meridian, Idaho. After getting the job, she fell in love with teaching more with our D/HH students. She decided to return to school and obtain her master's in Deaf Education while leading a team in a public mainstream school. After nine years running the mainstream D/HH program, she went to work for Idaho Educational School for the Deaf and Blind as their preschool teacher; it was her lifelong goal to work for a Deaf school. Since she and her family decided to relocate to Florida, it was between Orlando and St. Augustine, she had her heart set on continuing her career working in a Deaf school, so here she is at FSDB as an assistant principal. She still serves as an adjunct faculty with Boise State.
