You make a difference in the lives of children who are deaf/hard of hearing and blind/visually impaired!

You Can Help

From birth to 22 years of age, over 900 students currently have the opportunity to Do More, Be More, and Achieve More because of the generous philanthropic support of donors like you. Each contribution is a significant investment in the lifelong success of children from all across Florida, who are deaf/hard of hearing or blind/visually impaired.

FSDB is a public school. As part of the state education system, students attend at no cost. However, FSDB receives only what are called “general revenue funds.” No lottery dollars, no local property tax dollars – which all other public schools in the state receive. General funds through the state do provide the very basic costs of educating students, teacher and staff salaries, utilities, food, and facilities upkeep.
